Sector Marketing has secured a major 18-month European contract from CYCLE WEST, a cross channel project to promote new cycling routes between the South West, Brittany and Normandy.

Supported by the INTERREG IVA programme, CYCLE WEST involves the development of three major new itineraries created to highlight the rich cultural and scenic diversity of each destination and to make the process of exploring these regions easier, safer and more enjoyable.

Sector Marketing Chief Executive Tony Male says “We are delighted to have been appointed as the lead marketing agency for the CYCLE WEST project. 01/08/2011 - We have been selected by the University of Warwick to recruit sponsors and exhibitors for the European University Association Annual Conference taking place in March 2012.

28/07/2011 - We are delighted to have been appointed by UKT&I to develop and deliver three individual marketing campaigns to increase the awareness and the take up of their three primary services : Passport to Export, Gateway to Global Growth and Overseas Market Introduction Service. Sector Marketing will be handling the project from start to finish, from the designing to the response handling.

31/05/2011 - CYCLE, a franco-british partnership looking to promote cyclotourism in northern France and South West England, has selected Sector Marketing  to organise two press conferences – one in London and one in Paris - in June to promote 3 key cycling itineraries.

16/05/2011 - The Official unveiling of the new Terminal at Birmingham Airport which was organised by the Sector Marketing Event team took place on Friday. The event was very successful with the attendance of 300 guests including the Secretary of State for Transport, Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP,  who officially opened the new terminal.

11/04/2011 - WEG - an international company in the automation and energy sector - have appointed us to support them with their university challenge project.

01/04/2011 - With only six weeks notice Sector organised a lunch in Paris and a lunch in Dusseldorf for MIDAS (Manchester Investment Development Agency Service). As FDI specialists we have targeted high quality leads to attend the two successful events which took place this week.

05/03/2011 - With the presence of 4500 exhibitors and 339,000 visitors, CeBIT was a very busy show this week. Sector Marketing is responsible for the Sales and Marketing of the show in the UK who was represented by 70 exhibitors this year. We also organised the UKTI matchmaking programme and the UKTI reception for 100 guests.

11/03/2011 - The MIPIM Sector team have just worked on 17 events  throughout this week in Cannes. Our extended knowledge of the show has allowed us to support the presence of Coventry City Council, Business Birmingham, Rider Levett Bucknall, Jaguar and Morston Assets.

18/03/2011 - Following the success of the services we provided UKTI with at CeBIT, we have just been appointed to organise the matchmaking programme and the UKTI reception at Hannover Messe next month.

25/03/2011 - Sector is delighted to have won the Venture Fest project, a key event for Science City Bristol. The event will include keynotes speakers, an exhibition area and some high value opportunities.

5/02/2011 - The team is delighted to have been appointed to manage the launch of Birmingham Airport’s new Terminal to the travel industry on 13th May 2011.

10/02/2011 -  Sector Marketing is expanding further and has opened a new office in London. The office in Mayfair gives us a third base in the UK alongside our existing premises in the Birmingham and Bristol areas. Our UK presence is complemented by our US office based in New York.

14/01/2011 - A Bridge to Growth event took place in Dublin this week. Advantage West Midlands, UKT&I and the British Embassy hosted the event at the Chamber of Commerce in Dublin and outlined the benefits of setting up in the UK to 50 attendees. Sector Marketing has been managing the Bridge to Growth events for the last 2 years.

20/01/2011 - Domotex, the world's leading flooring show, took place from the 15th to the 18th January in Hannover, Germany with a very successful attendance from 29 UK exhibitors.
